William W. Sanford, Jr., MAI, Principal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Will Sanford, Jr. joined Appraisal Group, Inc. in 2002 and became president in 2017 when he purchased the company. He has over 28 years of real estate appraisal experience which includes two recessions plus the COVID era. Mr. Sanford directs the day-to-day commercial and residential operations of Appraisal Group and is directly involved with most of Appraisal Group\u2019s valuation and litigation assignments.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sanford\u2019s expertise spans a variety of subjects including tax appeal, mixed use development, easement valuation, litigation support consulting, appraisal review, among many others. He attended Woodberry Forest School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Mary Washington College. Will earned the Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license prior to joining Appraisal Group, Inc., when he worked as an appraiser for Benton Advisory Group in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Sanford has held the Appraisal Institute\u2019s MAI designation for commercial appraisers since 2017.<\/p>\n

Amy Baugher<\/strong>
Office Manager & Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amy joined Appraisal Group, Inc. as the office and projects manager in February 2018. Amy manages the daily operations and provides support to the appraisers and staff in their project production. She graduated from Longwood College with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in English with a minor in Communications, and she has a background in real estate.<\/p>\n

Ivo Romenesko, MAI, CCIM, SRA, Founder (Retired)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ivo Romenesko founded Appraisal Group, Inc. in 1979. He held the MAI designation for over 30 years before retiring and continues to hold the CCIM professional designation.<\/p>\n

Prior to retirement, Mr. Romenesko specialized in valuation assignments involving litigation and court testimony and qualified as an expert valuation witness in numerous court cases. He has extensive experience appraising whole interests and partial interests in a wide range of properties and his clients include banking and mortgage institutions, corporations, development groups, law firms, insurance companies, government agencies and community organizations. In retirement, Mr. Romenesko remains active in real estate as a broker and advisor when he\u2019s not traveling or visiting family. Ivo remains a valued resource of information, ideas, and office cookies for Appraisal Group, Inc.<\/p>\n
